Sugar Land Regional Airport is a city-owned public-use airport located in Sugar Land, Texas, 17 miles southwest of the central business district of Houston. It was formerly known as Sugar Land Municipal Airport, or Hull Field. The airport was purchased from a private interest in 1990 by the city of Sugar Land. As of 2009 it is the fourth-largest airport within the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown metropolitan area and handles approximately 250 aircraft operations per day.

Constellation Field is a baseball park located in Sugar Land, Texas. It is the home of the Sugar Land Skeeters in the Atlantic League that began play in 2012. The park also has the ability to host football, soccer, lacrosse, and cheerleading competitions, as well as concerts. Constellation Field has a capacity of 7,500 spectators for baseball games, and 9,500 spectators for concerts.

The Beauford H. Jester IV Unit (J4) is a psychiatric facility of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice located in unincorporated Fort Bend County, Texas, 4 miles east of Richmond. It is a part of the Jester State Prison Farm property and it is located in U.S. Highway 90A. The unit was established in November 1993. The facility has wide hallways and have skylights and floor to ceiling windows. The cement walls have murals made by prisoners that depict wildlife.
