It is the flagship institution of the Texas A&M University System, the seventh-largest university in the United States and the largest university in Texas.

Aggie Bonfire
Aggie Bonfire was a long-standing tradition at Texas A&M University as part of the college rivalry with the University of Texas at Austin. For 90 years, Texas A&M students—known as Aggies—built and burned a bonfire on campus each autumn. Known to the Aggie community simply as "Bonfire", the annual autumn event symbolized Aggie students' "burning desire to beat the hell outta t.u. ", a derogatory nickname for the University of Texas.

Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park
Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park is a baseball stadium in College Station, Texas, that is home to the Texas A&M baseball program. The stadium was dedicated on March 21, 1978, and is named in honor of C. E. "Pat" Olsen, a 1923 graduate of Texas A&M University and a former baseball player in the New York Yankees farm system. Olsen Field has served as an NCAA regional site five times and had its 1999 regional attendance ranked second with 53,287.
G. Rollie White Coliseum
The G. Rollie White Coliseum is an on-campus arena at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, in the United States. Often referred to as the "Jollie Rollie" or "The Holler House on the Brazos," the arena was the home of Texas A&M's Aggie volleyball team, which played there since its inception in 1975 until 2009. Prior to the building of Reed Arena in 1998, it was also the home to the men's and women's basketball teams.

Aggie Softball Complex
The Aggie Softball Complex is the home to the Texas A&M University softball program. The stadium was dedicated on March 30, 1994. The record attendance for the complex is 2,341, set on April 25, 2005 versus the Texas Longhorns. Nineteen of the 20 highest attendance numbers were set during the 2005, 2006, and 2007 seasons. New upgrade plans are in the work. Fundraising has begun to increase the capacity of the stadium and to upgrade the facilities as a whole.

KAMU-FM
KAMU-FM is a public radio station located on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. It is owned and operated by the university. It began broadcasting in 1977. The radio station shares the same facility as KAMU-TV, at the Moore Communications Center. KAMU-FM programming includes 35 hours of local content each week. On March 30, 2007, it became the first HD Radio station in the Brazos Valley.

The Plaza Hotel (formerly University Tower) is a former hotel building in College Station, Texas, USA. The building contained 300 rooms and was 17 stories high. It was located at 410 South Texas Avenue, College Station, Texas 77840. Operated as a Ramada Inn, the initial two-story hotel was opened by Joe Ferreri in 1960 at the suggestion of Texas A&M University's president at the time, James Earl Rudder.

College Station High School opened in August 2012 with freshmen and sophomores only.
