Muscogee, Florida
Muscogee, Florida, is a ghost town located twenty miles northwest of Pensacola, Florida, in Escambia County, along the Perdido River, in the United States. Named after the Muscogee Lumber Company, formed by Georgia lumber men, the European-American town was founded in 1857 by a group of lumbermen to harvest timber from the surrounding pine forests. They and the following company clearcut the timber, and once the forests were gone, lumbering was ended in this area.
Woodham High School
Woodham High School was a secondary school located in Pensacola, Florida. The high school was closed after nearly 42 years of operation in May 2007. It is now known as Woodham Middle School. The school is named for Dr. William Jesse Woodham, Jr. , a former Escambia County School District superintendent. Jim Spooner Field
Jim Spooner Field is a stadium in Pensacola, Florida, USA that is primarily used for baseball, and is home field for the University of West Florida baseball team and was home to the Pensacola Pelicans. WYCT
WYCT (98.7 FM) is a radio station known as "Cat Country 98.7. " The main studio is located on Plantation Road in Pensacola, Florida, and caters to the Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Pace and Milton markets as well as Baldwin County, Alabama. Owner Dave Hoxeng applied to the FCC in 1987 for a new Pensacola station at 98.7. After long delays in winning a license in Washington, he moved to Pensacola in 2002 to construct the new 100,000-watt FM radio station from the ground up.
Saufley Field
