The Broadmoor
The Broadmoor is a 5-star/5-diamond luxury hotel and resort, located in southwestern Colorado Springs, Colorado. Built in the early 20th century as the "Grand Dame of the Rockies", it was one of the finest resort destinations along the Rocky Mountains during the age of railroads. It continues to be a popular conference destination for businessmen and government officials.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a mountainside zoo, located southwest of downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado on Cheyenne Mountain in the United States at an elevation of 6,800 feet above sea level. The Zoo covers 140-acre, of which 40 acres are in use. It is located west of the Broadmoor Hotel Resort along the slopes of Cheyenne Mountain's lower north end. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is one of only two mountain zoos in the United States.

The Broadmoor Golf Club is a golf resort located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, consisting of three 18-hole courses; East, West, and Mountain. The East Course, a Donald Ross design opened in 1918, has hosted several USGA championships since 1959, most recently the 2011 U.S. Women's Open, won by So Yeon Ryu. In 1995, the East Course was the site of the U.S. Women's Open, the first major won by Annika Sörenstam. The West Course opened in 1965, designed by Robert Trent Jones.

Broadmoor World Arena
The Broadmoor World Arena was a pioneering skating rink and hockey arena located at the Broadmoor Resort & Spa in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Originally an outdoor riding academy, the building was enclosed and converted to an ice arena which opened in January 1938. It was the original home of the Colorado College Tigers hockey team, as well as the Broadmoor Skating Club, a major force in the figure skating community.

2011 U.S. Women's Open Golf Championship
The 2011 U.S. Women's Open Golf Championship was the 66th U.S. Women's Open, and was played from July 7–11, 2011 at The Broadmoor East Course in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was one of 13 national championships conducted by the United States Golf Association (USGA). The course is at an elevation of over 6,200 feet above sea level and previously hosted the U.S. Women's Open in 1995, the first major championship won by Annika Sörenstam.
Ivywild, Colorado
Ivywild, Colorado, is a subdivision of Colorado Springs between the downtown area and Cheyenne Mountain to the south-southwest. One of five Colorado Springs "suburbs" (cf. Broadmoor, Skyway, Cheyenne Canon, and Stratton Meadows) added c. 1980, the Colorado Supreme Court "overturned a district court decision that voided the annexation".
