Denver Botanic Gardens

The Denver Botanic Gardens is a public botanical garden located in the Cheesman Park neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The 23-acre park contains a conservatory, a variety of theme gardens and a sunken amphitheater, which hosts various concerts in the summer. Woody Allen's 1973 movie Sleeper filmed some scenes at the gardens.

The Alamo Placita neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, United States, is named after Alamo Placita Park which is located on the north side of Speer Boulevard between Ogden and Emerson Streets. The neighborhood is bounded by Downing Street (east), Speer Boulevard (south), Pennsylvania Street (west), 6th Avenue (north) west of Clarkson Street and 7th Avenue (north) east of Clarkson Street. Boettcher Memorial Tropical Conservatory

The Boettcher Memorial Tropical Conservatory is the largest single structure tropical conservatory in the United States, located at the Denver Botanic Gardens. The conservatory building was designed in 1964 by Denver architects Victor Hornbein and Ed White Jr. and opened in 1966. Its structure consists of high, interlaced concrete arches inset with faceted Plexiglas panels, which suitably honor benefactor Claude Boettcher of the Ideal Cement Company. It incorporates more than 85,000 sq ft .

The Rainbow Ballroom (Denver)

The Rainbow Ballroom, at 38 E 5th Avenue (at Lincoln N Lincoln Street), Denver, was a dance hall that was one of the best known dance halls west of the Mississippi, according to a 1946 Billboard article. Colorado History Museum

The Colorado History Museum was a museum in Denver, Colorado, USA dedicated to the history of Colorado. It was at 1300 Broadway in Denver from 1976 to 2010, and was administered by the Colorado Historical Society, now known as History Colorado. It closed on 28 March 2010, and the building was demolished in June to make way for a new Colorado Judicial Complex. The replacement museum, the History Colorado Center, was constructed one block to the south.

History Colorado Center

The History Colorado Center is a museum in Denver, Colorado, USA dedicated to the history of the state of Colorado. Construction on the $111 million building started on 19 August 2009. The museum opened on 28 April 2012 at 1200 Broadway, one block south of the site of its predecessor, the Colorado History Museum, which closed in 2010. Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Center

The Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Center is a division of Denver Health Medical Center, an integrated health care organization based in Denver.
