Viking Stadion

Viking Stadion is a football stadium, built at Jåttåvågen, in Stavanger, Norway. It was inaugurated in May 2004 and cost 160 million NOK to build (€ 20 million). 50 million NOK, plus the lot it was built on, was a gift from the municipality. It replaced Stavanger Stadion as the home stadium for Viking FK. Stavanger Stadion

Stavanger Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Stavanger, Norway. It was used mostly for football matches and hosted the home matches of Viking FK. Stavanger Airport, Forus

Stavanger Airport, Forus (Norwegian: Stavanger lufthavn, Forus) is a closed military airport located in the Forus area, in the municipalities Stavanger, Sola and Sandnes. It was built for Luftwaffe by the German occupational forces during World War II, on farm land cultivated at the site of the former lake Stokkavatnet. The airport was later used as a heliport, Forus Heliport, until it was closed in 1989. The area has later been developed for industry.

Stokkavatnet is a former lake that was located at Forus in Stavanger, Norway, between the two fjords Hafrsfjord and Gandsfjord. The lake was among the largest at the Northern Jæren district, with an area of about 4 km². It was surrounded by considerable areas of marsh land, and was known for a rich birdlife.
