Hakata, Ehime
Hakata, Ehime was a town located in Ochi District, Ehime, Japan. On January 16, 2005 Hakata, along with the towns of Kamiura, Kikuma, Miyakubo, Namikata, Ōmishima, Ōnishi, Tamagawa and Yoshiumi, and the villages of Asakura and Sekizen, all from Ochi District, was merged into the expanded city of Imabari and no longer exists as an independent municipality. As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 7,683 and a density of 368.31 persons per km². The total area was 20.86 km².
Kurushima-Kaikyō Bridge
The Kurushima-Kaikyō Bridge, which connects the island of Ōshima to the main part of Shikoku, is the world's longest suspension bridge structure and was completed in 1999. The bridge is part of the Shimanami Kaidō, an expressway that spans a series of islands and connects Hiroshima Prefecture in Honshū to Ehime Prefecture in Shikoku. The bridge and the expressway were both conceived by the Honshū-Shikoku Bridge Project.
Japanese cruiser Nisshin
, also transliterated as Nissin, was a Kasuga-class armored cruiser of the Imperial Japanese Navy designed and built by Ansaldo in Genoa Italy, where the type was known as the Giuseppe Garibaldi-class cruiser. Designed as a cross between a battleship and a cruiser, but with a very small displacement, it had the ability to stand in the line of battle and the speed to avoid action with battleships.
Hakata-Ōshima Bridge
The Hakata-Ōshima Bridge is a Japanese suspension bridge, part of the 59 kilometer Nishiseto Expressway connecting the islands of Honshū and Shikoku. Completed in 1988, it has a main span of 560 meters and connects Hakatajima with Ōshima. The expressway connects seven small islands and also includes several other long span bridges including the Tatara Bridge, the Innoshima Bridge, and the Kurushima-Kaikyō Bridge.
Okamura Island
Okamura Island is a small island in the Inland Sea of Japan. Administratively, it is part of the city of Imabari, Ehime Prefecture. The island is famous for mikan and butterflies. As of 2006, the population was about 1,000. The area is 3.13 km² and the circumference is 11.1 km. Access is from Imabari by fast or slow ferry boat.

Imabari Meitoku Junior College
Imabari Meitoku Junior College is a private junior college in Imabari, Ehime, Japan. The predecessor of the school, founded in 1906, was chartered as a women's junior college in 1966. In 1987 it became coeducational.
