Yukon College
Yukon College is a community college in the Canadian territory of Yukon. Its main campus is in Whitehorse, Yukon. The college was founded in 1983, subsuming the Yukon Vocational and Technical Training Centre that had been in operation since the 1960s. The chancellor is Geraldine Van Bibber.

Takhini River
The Takhini River is a watercourse in the Yukon Territory of Canada. The river is located just north of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, and flows from west to east, meeting the Yukon River at a point between Whitehorse and Lake Laberge. During the winter, the river freezes and serves as part of the route of the Yukon Quest sled dog race. The Alaska Highway parallels the Takhini River, and the Klondike Highway crosses it near its junction with the Yukon.

The Copperbelt Railway & Mining Museum (CR&MM) is run by the Miles Canyon Historic Railway Society (MCHRS), which consists of a board of six members. The objectives of the society are to: a) To preserve, promote and to protect the railway heritage of the Yukon; b) To develop and operate the Waterfront Trolley; c) To develop and operate the Copperbelt Railway & Mining Museum; and d) To promote and enhance tourism development in the city of Whitehorse and the Yukon.

The A. J. Goddard was a Gold Rush era sternwheeler that transported men and supplies on the Yukon River. It was assembled from pieces which were manufactured in San Francisco, shipped up to Skagway, Alaska, hauled over the Coast Mountains, and finally assembled at Lake Bennett.
