Saskatoon Correctional Centre
The Saskatoon Correctional Centre is an adult male, provincial correctional centre located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is one of four provincial correctional centres in the province including the Regina Correctional Centre, the Prince Albert Correctional Centre and the only female institution, the Pine Grove Correctional Centre. Lawson Heights derived its origins when Reverend Stephen George Lawson homesteaded here on the North east quarter of section 10 Township 37 Range 5 West of the 3rd Meridian. He had come from Prince Edward Island and was a Presbyterian minister. Lawson Heights is a community which has come together mainly in the 1970s tapering off in the 1980s when the community became established. The average family size is 2.7 with homeownership at 64.6%. The average home selling price in 2006 was $256,013.

National Hydrology Research Centre
The National Hydrology Research Centre is located in a dedicated building on the Innovation Place Research Park campus in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The Centre is operated by Environment Canada. The centre includes staff from the Water Science and Technology Directorate of Environment Canada, and the Climate Research Division of the Atmospheric Science and Technology Directorate.
