Florianópolis
Florianópolis is the capital city and second largest city of Santa Catarina state in the Southern region of Brazil. It is composed of one main island, the Island of Santa Catarina (Ilha de Santa Catarina), a continental part and the surrounding small islands. It has a population of 427,298, according to a 2009 Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics estimate, the second most populous city in the state, and the 47th in Brazil.

Hercilio Luz Bridge
Located in Florianopolis, the capital city of Santa Catarina State in southern Brazil, the Hercilio Luz Bridge is the first bridge constructed to link the Island of Santa Catarina to the mainland. It is the longest suspension bridge in Brazil. The central span was considered quite long (but not the longest, at 340 metres) at the time of its opening and is still one of the 100 largest suspension bridges.

The Estádio Orlando Scarpelli is a football stadium inaugurated on May 27, 1961 in Estreito neighborhood, Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, with a maximum capacity of 19,908 people. The stadium is owned by Figueirense Futebol Clube. Its formal name honors Orlando Scarpelli, who was Figueirense's president, and donated the groundplot where the stadium was built.

The Estádio Aderbal Ramos da Silva, usually called Estádio da Ressacada or just Ressacada, is a football stadium inaugurated on November 15, 1983 in Carianos neighborhood, Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, with a maximum capacity of approximately 19,000 people. The stadium is owned by Avaí. Its formal name honors Aderbal Ramos da Silva, who was president of the Santa Catarina Football Federation and was also governor of the state.
São José, Santa Catarina
São José (San Jose) is a city in Santa Catarina, Brazil. It is a suburb located approximately five kilometers from Florianópolis, the state capital. It encircles the continental section of Florianópolis. São José has some industries such as telecommunication equipment, textiles, and food processing. The main district of São José are Campinas, Barreiros and Historic Centre. São José is the 20th HDI Ranked city in Brazil.
Santa Catarina Island
Santa Catarina Island is an island in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, located off the southern coast. It is approximately 54 km (33 mi) long (measuring north-south) by 18 km (11 mi) wide, measuring east-west at its widest point (in the north of the island), with a total area of 424.4 km² (163.9 mi²). Campeche (Florianópolis)
Campeche is a beach located on the south of the city of Florianópolis, on the south of Brazil. There used to be a proper airport which was inaugurated in 1924. Correio do Sul aircraft used to land on the fields at Campeche neighbourhood. According to the information gathered at Florianópolis' Air Base, French pilot and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, author of the classic The Little Prince, would have made regular landings on the area when was flying with Ligne Latécoère.

Canasvieiras is a neighbourhood and beach located in southern Brazil, approximately 27 kilometres north-east of the city of Florianópolis on the northern part of Santa Catarina island. Nearby beaches include Jurerê and Cachoeira do Bom Jesus.
Lagoa da Conceição
Lagoa da Conceição is a district located next to a large lagoon of the same name near the center of Florianópolis, capital city of the state of Santa Catarina, located in the south of Brazil. The area has a small town center with a medical clinic, post office, pharmacies, supermarkets, boutique stores and specialty shops. The town gets particularly crowded during the Brazilian summer vacation months of January and February.

Mole Beach
The Praia Mole is located in the city of Florianópolis, Brazil. The beach extends to nearly 950 metres and width varies from 10 m to 120 m. It is one of the many LGBT touristic spots of Florianópolis. Mole beach is also known for its strong and long waves making it ideal for surfing. The beach is also a traditional point for the youth of this island. The beach is frequented by surfers and gliders who use the hillside in the south as a slope for take-off.
Praia dos Ingleses
Praia dos Ingleses is a beach located in the neighbourhood of Ingleses, north of the island of Santa Catarina, in the municipality of Florianópolis, capital of the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. It is a beach with 4.83 km long, open ocean, blue warm water with little waves, and a lot of sand where sandboarding is practiced by people of all ages on the beach's dunes. Boating tours are also conducted.
Ingleses do Rio Vermelho
Ingleses do Rio Vermelho is a district of Florianopolis located in the northeast of the island of Santa Catarina, between the districts of Cachoeira do Bom Jesus and São João do Rio Vermelho, created from a decree in 1831 . The origin of its name is attributed to the sinking of a ship English occurred in the mid- eighteenth century, with some crew members opted to reside in the region. It has an area of 20.47 square kilometers and its population in 2000 was 16,514 inhabitants.
