Cairns
Cairns is a regional city in the far north of Queensland, Australia, founded 1876. The city was named after William Wellington Cairns, then-current Governor of Queensland. It was formed to serve miners heading for the Hodgkinson River goldfield, but experienced a decline when an easier route was discovered from Port Douglas.
Trinity Anglican School
Trinity Anglican School is a private Anglican School located in Tropical North Queensland, Australia. TAS White Rock caters for students from Kindergarten through to Year 12 and TAS Kewarra Beach serves students from Prep to Year 7. Woree is a southern suburb of the city of Cairns, Queensland, Australia. The population in 2006 was 4372 people. Woree is next to the Bruce Highway. Schools located in Woree are Woree State School, Woree State High School, Saint Mary’s College and St Gerard Majella Catholic School. There was a popular Drive In movie theatre close by but it is no longer operational. Cairns' major horse-racing track (Cannon Park) is in Woree and also a large tavern (Woree Tavern).

Cazaly's Stadium, also known by its sponsorship name as Bundaberg Rum Stadium, is a sports stadium located in Westcourt, a suburb of Cairns, Australia. The Cairns Taipans are an Australian men's professional basketball team competing in the Australasian National Basketball League (NBL). The club is based in the North Queensland city of Cairns. The Taipans, named after a species of venomous snake native to Australia, entered the NBL in the 1999/2000 season. The Taipans play their home games at the Cairns Convention Centre (CCC), known as "The Snakepit" within the NBL, and play in orange and white colours.

It was the second FM radio licence issued in Cairns (after 103.5 FM which was also initially called 4CA-FM, later changing to HOT FM). 4CA FM used radio frequency 102.7 FM and was purchased by Prime Media Group Limited in 2005 from Macquarie Regional RadioWorks, it became 102.7 Zinc FM on 23 March 2009.
Cairns Convention Centre
Cairns Convention Centre, which opened in 1997, is a multi-purpose arena, located in Cairns, Queensland. The capacity is 5,300 people. It is the home arena of the Cairns Taipans basketball team. The record crowd is 5,500 for an NBL Finals game in 2004 between Cairns Taipans and Perth Wildcats. During Taipans games it is commonly referred to as "The Snakepit" in reference to the team's nickname. The convention centre is said to be Australia’s first environmentally-designed major public building.
Trinity Bay State High School

The school draws from the surrounding “three M” suburbs of Manoora, Manunda and Mooroobool in addition to populations in surrounding mortgage belt suburbs. City of Cairns
The City of Cairns was a local government area centred on the Far North Queensland city of Cairns. Established in 1885, for most of its existence it consisted of approximately 51.5 square kilometres around Cairns itself, with much of the metropolitan area being located in the Shire of Mulgrave. The Shire amalgamated into the City on 22 March 1995, as did small sections of neighbouring shires. In 2008, the City amalgamated with the Shire of Douglas to become the Cairns Region.

Cairns railway station
