Wissahickon Creek
Wissahickon Creek is a stream in southeastern Pennsylvania. Rising in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, it runs about 23 miles (37 km) passing through and dividing Northwest Philadelphia before emptying into the Schuylkill River at Philadelphia. East Falls is a neighborhood in the Northwest section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. East Falls is located adjacent to Roxborough, Manayunk, and Germantown, and Fairmount Park. The neighborhood runs along a stretch of Ridge Avenue that is only a few miles long, along the banks of the Schuylkill River then extends northeast to Wissahickon Avenue.

Johannes Kelpius
Johannes Kelpius (1667–1708), a German Pietist, mystic, musician, and writer, interested in the occult, botany, and astronomy, came to believe with his followers in the "Society of the Woman in the Wilderness" that the end of the world would occur in 1694. This belief, based on an elaborate interpretation of a passage from the biblical Book of Revelation, anticipated the advent of a heavenly kingdom somewhere in the wilderness during that year.
Wissahickon, Philadelphia
Wissahickon is the informal name given to the area of Roxborough close to the Wissahickon Creek section of Fairmount Park in northwest Philadelphia. The boundaries are Ridge Ave. to the West The Schuykill River to the South, East Falls to the east and Germantown to the North at Wissahickon Ave. Many larger Georgian Revival homes sit in the area. Neighborhoods like Blue Bell Hill (Park Line Dr. between Johnson and Hortter Streets. ) Most of the land in this area in on a summit.
Chain Bridge at Falls of Schuylkill
Chain Bridge at Falls of Schuylkill was an 1808 iron-chain suspension bridge built across the Schuylkill River, north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Designed by inventor James Finley, it became the model for his later chain suspension bridges. It collapsed in 1816 under a heavy load of snow.
Philadelphia and Reading Railroad, Bridge at West Falls
The Philadelphia and Reading Railroad, Bridge at West Falls is a stone and iron plate girder bridge in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that carries two CSX Trenton Subdivision tracks over Kelly Drive, Schuylkill River, and Martin Luther King Drive (formerly West River Drive). It was built in 1890 by the Reading Railroad, and forms a "Y" junction with the adjacent Philadelphia and Reading Railroad, Schuylkill River Viaduct (1854).

Paul J. Gutman Library
The Paul J. Gutman Library is the main library of Philadelphia University, which is located in the East Falls section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Gutman Library opened in 1992 to replace the university's Pastore Library (now the Architecture & Design School). The architectural firm of Shepley Bulfinch was responsible for the building's design. In 1993, the library won the Louis I.
