The station loop is located at 63rd Street and Malvern Avenue, in the Overbrook neighborhood of West Philadelphia, near Lancaster Avenue. It is also close to the border with Lower Merion, Montgomery County. Trolleys run from here to Center City Philadelphia. The Overbrook Station of the SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale Line is within walking distance of the station.
Arboretum of the Barnes Foundation
The Arboretum of the Barnes Foundation (5 ha / 12 acres) is an arboretum and site of the Barnes Foundation art gallery, located at 300 North Latch's Lane, Merion, Pennsylvania. The arboretum and gallery are open to visitors several days a week. A reservation is required, and an admission fee is charged. The arboretum was begun in the 1880s by Captain Joseph Lapsley Wilson.

The Merion Botanical Park (13.5 acres) is a city park and botanical garden located at 100 Merion Road, Merion, Pennsylvania. It is open daily without charge. The park was created in 1944 adjacent to the railway tracks, and now contains azaleas, dogwoods, magnolias, cut-leaf maples, redbuds, rhododendron, and viburnum.
Mosque of Shaikh M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen
The Mosque of Shaikh M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the grounds of the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship. The building of the mosque took 6 months and was done by the members of the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship under the direction of M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen. It was completed by May, 1984, two years before his death in 1986. The official opening and dedication took place on May 27, 1984. The liturgical prayers follow the Hanafi tradition.
St. Charles Borromeo Seminary
St. Charles Borromeo Seminary is the seminary of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Named for Saint Charles Borromeo, it is located in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. The seminary is accredited by both the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, and the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. It consists of three divisions: College, Theology, and Graduate School of Theology.
