Scranton Preparatory School is a Catholic and Jesuit college preparatory day school for boys and girls. The current enrollment is 835 students. WICK
WICK is an AM broadcasting radio station licensed to the city of Scranton, Pennsylvania and serves the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton radio market. The station broadcasts at a frequency of 1400 kHz with 1,000 watts with a non-directional signal pattern. The station is owned by Bold Gold Media. In 2006, the station owners dropped the oldies radio format in favor of a sports radio format branded as "The Game" with programming coming from Fox Sports Radio and Premiere Radio Networks's Jim Rome.
Houdini Museum
The Houdini Museum was established in 1988 at 1433 N. Main Avenue in Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA. It is in a turn-of-the-20th-century building that has been entirely renovated. Houdini performed in Scranton and did several special challenges there. His brother, Hardeen, also appeared in Scranton and in its sister city, Wilkes-Barre. Documents and letters attesting to this are on display at the museum and on its website. Houdini performed at the Poli Theater for S. Z.

The new school was renamed Scranton School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children.
