Downingtown, Pennsylvania
Downingtown is a borough in Chester County, Pennsylvania, 33 miles west of Philadelphia. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 7,891. Downingtown was settled by English and European colonists in the early 18th century and has a number of historic buildings and structures.

Downingtown (SEPTA station)
Downingtown Station is a commuter rail station located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia at West Lancaster Avenue & Stuart Avenue in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. It is served by Amtrak Keystone Service and SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale Line trains. The original Downingtown Station was built in 19th century by the Pennsylvania Railroad, and was destroyed by fire in the early 1990s. The foundation from the old station can still be seen today. There is no ticket office at this station.
Bishop Shanahan High School
Bishop Shanahan High School is located in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. It is part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia's Catholic school system. Named after Right Rev. John W. Shanahan, the third bishop of Harrisburg, the school is currently the only Archdiocesan High School in Chester County. Construction of the current building began in 1996, was opened in 1998, and the first class graduated from it in 1999. The school had previously been located in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

The main turf stadium is named Primo Sport Stadium after the facility's primary soccer sponsor and seats 1,200.
Downingtown STEM Academy
The Downingtown STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Academy is the third high school in the Downingtown Area School District, located in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. It is a magnet school that will pull students from both Downingtown East and West for the school day, and return them to their home high school for performance music or athletics. It opened in Fall of 2011, in the former Downingtown Educational Center/Ninth Grade Center that was renovated to be a "STEM" school.
