Titicus Reservoir

Titicus Reservoir is one of 12 in the New York City Water Supply System's Croton watershed. It is located in the Town of North Salem in Westchester County, 30 miles (48 km) north of the city. At full capacity it holds 7.2 billion gallons (2.7 million m³). It is 681.5 acres (2.7 km²) in area, two miles (3.2 km) long, reaches a mean depth of 32 feet (9.8 m) and drains a 24-square mile (62.4 km²) area in North Salem and Lewisboro.

Titicus River

The Titicus River is an 8.5 mile river in southwestern Connecticut and southeastern New York that drains into the Titicus Reservoir, part of New York City's water supply system. The drainage area is 23.8 square miles . It is one of the few rivers in Connecticut that is part of the system. The source of the river is in Ridgefield, Connecticut. About 1 mile down stream, the stream marks the southern boundary of the Kiahs Brook Reserve.

East Branch Croton River

The East Branch Croton River is a river in southern New York state. It rises in the town of Pawling in Dutchess County, flowing west and then south through the village of Pawling. It crosses into Putnam County, flowing through the Great Swamp in the town of Patterson. It then flows south, west and southwest through the town of Southeast, passing through the East Branch Reservoir, the village of Brewster, and the Diverting Reservoir.
