Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island
The Moravian Cemetery at 2205 Richmond Road in New Dorp on Staten Island, New York is the largest cemetery on the island. Opened in 1740, it is situated on the southeastern foot of the Todt Hill ridge, and to its southwest is High Rock Park, one of the constituent parks of the Staten Island Greenbelt.
Monsignor Farrell High School

Oakwood, Staten Island
Oakwood is the name of a neighborhood located in east central Staten Island, one of the five boroughs of New York City, USA. It lies near the southern shore, and is bordered by Tysens Lane (north); the Atlantic Ocean (east); Great Kills Park (south); and Kensico Street at Clarke Avenue (west). The neighborhood has a coastline on the Lower New York Bay; the coastal area is sometimes referred to as Oakwood Beach, and is the site of a sewage treatment facility.

New Dorp High School
New Dorp High School, (or "New Dorp," or NDHS) administered by the New York City Department of Education, is a public school located on the East Shore of the New York City borough of Staten Island in the New Dorp neighborhood. The school is located at 465 New Dorp Lane next to Miller Field, an army airport turned park, which extends to the Lower New York Bay. New Dorp High School is located in Region 7, which encompasses all of Staten Island and portions of southwest Brooklyn.
Oakwood Heights (Staten Island Railway station)
Oakwood Heights is a Staten Island Railway station in the neighborhood of Oakwood, Staten Island, New York. It is located on an open cut at Guyon Avenue and Railroad Avenue on the main line. It has two side platforms and beige painted walls. The north end has an overpass bridge with two exits, one to Oak Avenue on northbound platform side, and the other to Cedarview Avenue the southbound platform side. This station is used frequently by students of the nearby Monsignor Farrell High School.
New Dorp (Staten Island Railway station)
New Dorp is a Staten Island Railway station in the neighborhood of New Dorp, Staten Island, New York. It is located on an open cut at New Dorp Lane and Railroad Avenue on the main line. It has two side platforms and orange colored walls and railings. The northbound platform has a 20-foot high concrete wall, while the sountbound platform has a hill. The north exit leads to New Dorp Lane where the stationhouse is located, while the south exit leads to Rose Avenue.
Grant City (Staten Island Railway station)
Grant City is a Staten Island Railway station in the neighborhood of Grant City, Staten Island, New York. It is located on an open cut at Lincoln Avenue and Railroad Avenue on the main line. It has two side platforms and aqua green walls. There are two exits; the main exit at the south end leads to Lincoln Avenue and has brick a stationhouse on street level. There are no benches inside the stationhouse.
Staten Island Technical High School
Staten Island Technical High School, commonly called Staten Island Tech or SITHS, was founded in 1988. Located in Staten Island, New York City, the school is operated by the New York City Department of Education. In 2005 Staten Island Tech became the only Specialized High School in Staten Island. It consistently ranks among the best schools in New York City in graduation rate, Regents test scores, and attendance.
Rose and Crown Tavern
General William Howe was billeted with his aides-de-camp in this farmhouse and tavern at New Dorp, Staten Island, in 1776, when 30,000 British and Hessian soldiers were encamped on the island awaiting orders to invade New York City (at the time limited to the southern part of Manhattan Island) via Long Island by crossing the Narrows. The general was known to have read the Declaration of Independence to his troops at this tavern.
