Jamaica is a major hub station of the Long Island Rail Road, and is located in Jamaica, Queens, New York City. It is the largest transit hub on Long Island and is one of the busiest railroad stations in the country with over 200,000 daily passengers. In the New York City area, it ranks only behind Pennsylvania Station, Grand Central Terminal, and Secaucus Junction, with over 1,000 trains passing through it every day, while there is a direct rail connection to John F.

Sutphin Boulevard – Archer Avenue – JFK Airport is a station on the IND & BMT Archer Avenue Lines of the New York City Subway. It is located at Sutphin Boulevard and Archer Avenue in Jamaica, Queens and served by the E and J trains at all times, and by the Z train during rush hours in the peak direction. This station has two levels; the upper level serves the IND Archer Avenue Line, while the BMT line uses the lower level. Each level has two tracks and an island platform.
Richmond Hill, Queens
Richmond Hill is a middle class and commercial neighborhood located in the central-southern area of the New York City borough of Queens. It is bordered by Kew Gardens to the north, Woodhaven and Ozone Park to the west, South Ozone Park to the south and South Jamaica to the east. The neighborhood is split between Queens Community Board 9 and 10. Main commercial streets in the neighborhood include Jamaica Avenue, Atlantic Avenue and Liberty Avenue.

The Morris Park facility is a maintenance facility of the Long Island Rail Road in Queens, New York. It includes two employee-only side platforms on the Atlantic Branch named Boland's Landing. Two wooden platforms each 2 cars long exist on the two-track line, with a flashlight for workers to signal trains to stop.
Jamaica – Van Wyck (IND Archer Avenue Line)
Jamaica – Van Wyck is a station on the IND Archer Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. It is served by the E train at all times and is the only non-transfer station on the E that is not served by any other train. This is a single level station with two tracks and an island platform. The mezzanine is suspended above the Jamaica-bound track via heavy cables linked to the station roof.
Ozone Park – Lefferts Boulevard (IND Fulton Street Line)
Ozone Park – Lefferts Boulevard is an elevated terminal station on the IND Fulton Street Line of the New York City Subway, located at the intersection of Lefferts Boulevard and Liberty Avenue in Queens. Despite its name, the station is not actually located in Ozone Park, but rather in the adjacent neighborhood of Richmond Hill. This station is one of the three southern terminals for the A train.
Sean Bell shooting incident
The Sean Bell shooting incident took place in the New York City borough of Queens, New York, United States on November 25, 2006, when three men were shot at a total of fifty times by a team of both plainclothes and undercover NYPD officers, killing one of the men, Sean Bell, on the morning before his wedding, and severely wounding two of his friends, Trent Benefield and Joseph Guzman.

Dunton was a ground-level station on the Long Island Rail Road's Main Line, Montauk Branch, and Atlantic Branch in Dunton, Queens, New York City, United States. It was closed in 1939 when the Atlantic Branch was placed in a tunnel east of East New York.
Robert's Lounge
Robert's Lounge was a saloon in New York City owned by Lucchese crime family associate James 'Jimmy the Gent' Burke. It was located at 114-45 Lefferts Boulevard in South Ozone Park, Queens, near the John F. Kennedy International Airport Air Cargo Center. The saloon served as a mob headquarter from 1957 until early 1979. The saloon was long used as an informal headquarters by Paul Vario, whom the New York Times described as "a capo in the Antonio 'Tony Ducks' Corallo crime family.
Metropolitan Avenue (BMT Jamaica Line)
Metropolitan Avenue was a station on the demolished section of the BMT Jamaica Line. It had 2 tracks and 2 side platforms, with space for a 3rd track in the center. This station was built as part of the Dual Contracts. It opened December 12, 1916, and closed on April 15, 1985. The next stop to the north was Queens Boulevard. The next stop to the south was 121st Street. Metropolitan Avenue was closed because the rest of the Jamaica Line was connected to the Archer Avenue Subway.
Queens Boulevard (BMT Jamaica Line)
Queens Boulevard was a station on the demolished section of the BMT Jamaica Line. It had two tracks and two side platforms, with space for a third track in the center. This station was built as part of the Dual Contracts. It opened December 12, 1916. The next stop to the north was Sutphin Boulevard. The next stop to the south was Metropolitan Avenue. It was closed because the rest of the Jamaica Line had to be connected to the Archer Avenue Subway.
