State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry
The State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF) is an American, specialized, doctoral-granting institution based in the University Hill neighborhood of Syracuse, New York, immediately adjacent to Syracuse University, within which it was founded, and with whom it maintains a special relationship. ESF also operates facilities in the Adirondack Park, the Thousand Islands, elsewhere in central New York, and Costa Rica.
Carrier Dome
The Carrier Dome is a 49,262-seat domed sports stadium located on the campus of Syracuse University in the University Hill neighborhood of Syracuse, New York, USA. It is home to the Syracuse Orange football, basketball and lacrosse teams. New York high school football state championships as well as the annual New York State Field Band Conference championships are held in the stadium, as are occasional concerts.

WJPZ-FM is a student run college radio station at Syracuse University in New York. It broadcasts at 89.1 FM at an effective radiated power of 100 watts and can be heard throughout Syracuse, the rest of Onondaga County, and beyond to the north and east. Archbold Stadium
Archbold Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium in Syracuse, New York. It opened in 1907 and was home to the Syracuse University Orangemen football team prior to the Carrier Dome opening in 1980. It was the third concrete football stadium built in the country. The stadium was named for John D. Archbold, who donated $600,000 for the project. He was also responsible for funding towards the building of Archbold Gymnasium, located just to the east overlooking the stadium.
Manley Field House
Manley Field House is a multi-purpose arena in Syracuse, New York. The arena opened in 1962 and holds 9,500 people. It was home to the Syracuse Orange men's basketball team and indoor track team before they moved to Carrier Dome in 1980. Currently it hosts the women's volleyball team, as well as hosting the Indoor Track and Field meets for Section III high schools. It is named for Dr. George L.
Archbold Gymnasium
Archbold Gymnasium is a gymnasium located on the campus of Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. It was built in 1908 with money donated by John D. Archbold, a major benefactor of the university, who also funded the building of Archbold Stadium, just to the west of the gymnasium (now the site of the Carrier Dome). It served as the home to the men's basketball team until the building of the Manley Field House in 1962, with the exception of the time from January, 1947 to 1949.
WAER
WAER is a radio station in Syracuse, New York. It is located on the campus of Syracuse University, and is an auxiliary service of the school. The station features a jazz music and National Public Radio format, with a news and music staff providing programming around the clock. It is best known, however, for its sports staff, which has produced the likes of Bob Costas, Marv Albert, Mike Tirico, Sean McDonough, Bill Roth, Ian Eagle, Brian Higgins, Dick Stockton and many others.
Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Center
The Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Center is a college basketball practice facility located in Syracuse, New York. The facility opened September 24, 2009. Both the men's and women's basketball teams for Syracuse University use the center. The facility houses two practice courts, locker rooms and office facilities for the men’s and women’s basketball programs at Syracuse. It is located on the north side of Manley Field House, in between the Roy Simmons Sr.
Tennity Ice Skating Pavilion
The Tennity Ice Skating Pavilion is an ice arena in Syracuse, New York. Named for donors Marilyn and Bill Tennity, the facility opened in October 2000 for the use of Syracuse University students. The facility is the home of Syracuse University's ACHA Division I men's club hockey team competing in the Northeast Collegiate Hockey League, and new NCAA Division I women's program playing in the College Hockey America conference.
New York State College of Forestry at Cornell
The New York State College of Forestry at Cornell was a statutory college established in 1898 at Cornell University to teach scientific forestry. The first four-year college of forestry in the country, it was defunded by the State of New York in 1903, over controversies involving the college's forestry practices in the Adirondacks. Forestry studies continued at Cornell even after the college's closing.
