Seabreeze Amusement Park

Seabreeze Amusement Park, known locally as Seabreeze, is an historic amusement park in Irondequoit, a suburb of Rochester, New York, United States. Seabreeze is in northeast Irondequoit, where Irondequoit Bay empties into Lake Ontario. It opened on August 5, 1879, and, according to the National Amusement Park Historical Association (NAPHA), it is the twelfth-oldest operating amusement park in the world (fourth-oldest in the United States).

WIRQ

WIRQ is a non-profit radio station broadcasting an Alternative genre. The station is licensed to Rochester, New York, USA, and is owned by West Irondequoit Central School District. WIRQ began broadcasting in January 1960. Originally at 90.9 MHz, the station moved to 93.3 MHz in 1981, then in the early 1990s moved to 94.3 MHz for several years before moving again to 104.7 MHz. In mid February 2011 the station moved frequency yet again, back to its original 90.9 MHz.

Colonel Patrick O'Rorke Memorial Bridge

The Colonel Patrick O'Rorke Memorial Bridge is a bascule bridge in New York, United States, that connects the Rochester neighborhood of Charlotte to the town of Irondequoit. The bridge, located about 6 miles north of downtown Rochester, is named for Civil War Colonel Patrick O'Rorke, who grew up in Rochester. The bridge carries Pattonwood Drive over the CSX Transportation-owned Charlotte Running Track and the Genesee River near its mouth at Lake Ontario.
