Boonton Township, New Jersey
Boonton Township is a township in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 4,263, reflecting a decline of 24 (-0.6%) from the 4,287 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 721 (+20.2%) from the 3,566 counted in the 1990 Census. Boonton Township was incorporated by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 11, 1867, from portions of Pequannock Township.

Hibernia mines
The Hibernia mines are a series of iron mines in northern New Jersey, worked from pre-Revolutionary times until 1916. An exploratory shaft was drilled in the 1950s but was not worked, and the shafts and adit were partly or totally sealed in 1972 and 1989. After its closure, the mine became the largest bat hibernaculum in New Jersey, with as many 30,000 bats each winter. In 2010, less than 10% that number was found in the mine following an outbreak of white nose syndrome.

Camp Marcella is the facility designed and owned by the NJ Camp for Blind Children (NJCBC) incorporated, a non-profit organization started in 1947. At that time a casual type of camp facility existed, but to many parents it lacked the advantages of a complete camping experience. So NJCBC began recruiting the right people for the right job.
Splitrock Reservoir
Splitrock Reservoir is 625 acres of wilderness located in northern New Jersey on the borders of Rockaway Township and Kinnelon. The reservoir is nestled deep in the woods where it can be reached by traveling a mile on a dirt road known as Split Rock Road. The reservoir consists of several large lakes interconnected with many large islands. There is a large man-made dam on the southwest end of the reservoir.
