Hudson County, New Jersey

Hudson County is the smallest county in New Jersey and one of the most densely populated in United States. It takes its name from the Hudson River, which creates part of its eastern border. Part of the New York metropolitan area, Jersey City is its largest city and county seat. As of the 2010 United States Census, the county's population was 634,266. The county is named for explorer Henry Hudson, namesake of the river.

Marion Junction (New Jersey)

Marion Junction is a railroad junction in western Jersey City, New Jersey. Currently, it connects CSX's River Line to Conrail's Passaic and Harsimus Line. The two lines merge towards the west, allowing through trains from upstate New York to continue towards the rest of the country. The track actually making the connection is known as the Marion Running Track.

Loew's Jersey Theatre

The Loew's Jersey Theatre is a New Jersey Registered Historic Site in Jersey City, New Jersey of the United States of America. Opened in 1929, it was one of the five Loew's Wonder Theatres, a series of flagship Loew's movie palaces in the New York City area. Wittpenn Bridge

The Wittpenn Bridge is a vertical lift bridge that carries New Jersey Route 7 over the Hackensack River connecting Kearny and Jersey City, New Jersey. It is named after H. Otto Wittpenn, a former mayor of Jersey City. The bridge comprises four 10-foot -wide lanes, extending 2,169 feet and standing 35 feet above mean high water with an 209-foot main lift span. 26 Journal Square is a 55 m high-rise in Jersey City, New Jersey. It was originally known as the Labor Bank Building. It was completed in 1928 and has 15 floors. It is the 23rd tallest building in the city. It is often considered the first skyscraper in Jersey City. The Beaux Arts building was designed by John T. Rowland. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The building was originally headquarters of the Labor National Bank.

St. Peters' Catholic Cemetery is located just south of Tonnelle Circle near Croxton Yard in Jersey City, New Jersey and is administered by Holy Name Cemetery. Speer Cemetery

Speer Cemetery is located on Vroom Street near Bergen Square in Jersey City, New Jersey. Slightly over one acre, the burial ground had been used by the De Mott family, early settlers to Bergen, New Netherland from the 1660s. Although it has been called the "oldest cemetery of European settlers in New Jersey," it is contemporary to that of the nearby Old Bergen Church. The earliest surviving gravemarker in the cemetery is dated 1756.

The Bergen Section of Jersey City, New Jersey is the neighborhood on either side of Kennedy Boulevard between Saint Peter's College/ McGinley Square and Communipaw Avenue in the Bergen-Lafayette section of the city.
