North Wildwood, New Jersey
North Wildwood is a city located on the Jersey Shore in Cape May County, New Jersey, United States. It is part of the Ocean City Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2010 United States Census, the city's population was 4,041, reflecting an decline of 894 (-18.1%) from the 4,935 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 82 (-1.6%) from the 5,017 counted in the 1990 Census. North Wildwood is home to the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse.
Hereford Inlet Light
The Hereford Inlet Light is a historic lighthouse located in North Wildwood, New Jersey, situated on the southwestern shore of Hereford Inlet. Its construction was completed and it became operational in 1874. The 50-foot (15 m) tower and its beacon are visible for up to 13 nautical miles (24 km).
Hunt's Pier

Fly – The Great Nor'easter
Fly – The Great Nor'easter (formerly called The Great Nor'easter) is a steel inverted roller coaster, manufactured by the Dutch company Vekoma. It is located at Morey's Piers amusement park in Wildwood, NJ. The track is colored white and seats 20 people per ride in two trains. Riders are required to give 8 tickets or have a wristband in order to ride, and must be over 52" and under 79". Further restrictions are posted at the ride, and loose articles (cell phones, flip flops, etc.
WCMC (AM)
WCMC is a radio station broadcasting an oldies format. Licensed to Wildwood, New Jersey, USA. The station is currently owned by Equity Communications, L.P. WCMC carries the live radio broadcast of Philadelphia Phillies. Prior to 2010, the station carried an Adult Standards format and featured programing from ABC Radio/Citadel Media's Timeless satellite feed. In 2010, the station began simulcasting sister station WMID. WCMC can be heard clearly as far south as Ocean City, MD.
Doo Wopper
Doo Wopper is a steel roller coaster on the Surfside Pier of Morey's Piers amusement park. The attraction appeared along with Rollies Coaster, The Storm, and Shark Bite, one of which are defunct. The Doo Wopper was relocated from the Adventure Pier to Surfside Pier were it replaced the RC-48. A S&S Screaming Swing took the Doo Wopper's former space on Adventure Pier. The Doo Wooper is a wild mouse type of roller coaster.
Flitzer
Flitzer is a steel roller coaster on the Surfside Pier in the amusement park Morey's Piers. The Flitzer is 1 of the 2 small coasters at Morey's Piers. It opened in 1983 and was manufactured by Zierer.
Katapult (roller coaster)
The Katapult is a now-defunct type of roller coaster. Only eight such rides were made. The ride suffered breakdowns often. Wildwood, New Jersey once had two of these, although both are now gone.
