Evesham Township is a township in Burlington County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 45,538, reflecting an increase of 3,263 (+7.7%) from the 42,275 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 6,966 (+19.7%) from the 35,309 counted in the 1990 Census. Evesham Township dates back to November 6, 1688, when it was formed as Eversham.

Established in 1973, VMS was rated among the top 5 middle schools in New Jersey for the years 2004 and 2006 by South Jersey Magazine. Voorhees Middle School hosts grades six through eight and makes the transition from elementary school to high school. The grades are split up and there are five wings: A–E.

Congregation Beth El is a Conservative synagogue located in Voorhees, New Jersey. As of 2012, the clergy includes Rabbi Aaron Krupnick, Rabbi Noah Arnow, Rabbi Isaac Furman, and Cantor Alisa Pomerantz-Boro. Congregation Beth El was founded in 1921, in Parkside, Camden, at Park Boulevard and Belleview, opposite Farnham Park. It was Camden's first conservative synagogue.
