Union Square (Somerville)
Union Square is a neighborhood of Somerville, Massachusetts, located around the intersection of Washington Street and Somerville Avenue, about half a mile from Inman Square in neighboring Cambridge. The name "Union Square" comes from the square having been used as a recruitment and mustering site for the Union Army in the American Civil War. Round House (Somerville, Massachusetts)
The Round House is a cylindrical, wood-frame residential building at 36 Atherton Street in the Spring Hill neighborhood of Somerville, Massachusetts, United States. It was built in 1856 by hardware manufacturer Enoch Robinson, and is considered an offshoot of the octagon house-style popularized by phrenologist Orson Fowler. The exterior of the Round House features two flush stories, with a third stepped back behind a series of battlements and embrasures.
Murder of Deanna Cremin
Deanna J. Cremin (March 26, 1978 – March 30, 1995) was a 17-year-old American murder victim from Somerville, Massachusetts. Deanna Cremin was found behind a senior housing complex four days after her seventeenth birthday. An autopsy revealed she had been strangled, and her murder remains unsolved.

P.A. 's Lounge is a live music venue in Somerville, Massachusetts, located near Union Square at 345 Somerville Ave. The venue's name derives from its original popularity as a club frequented by Portuguese immigrants (the letters P and A standing for Portuguese-American). P.A. 's then became a Portuguese seafood restaurant before re-opening as a live music venue and bar in the fall of 2002.
Abbey Lounge
The Abbey Lounge, known to Inman Square locals as The Abbeyfeale Cafe, a bar and nightclub in Somerville, Massachusetts, first opened sometime around 1907 and established after prohibition ended in 1933, closed forever in November 2008. The first of many of the original "Abbey bands" to enter the scene was SCHNOCKERED, debuting at the Abbey Lounge every other Wednesday night beginning in March 1998 until the first official weekend production featuring headliners heavy stud, May 1, 1999.
