Cray Reservoir
Cray Reservoir is a storage reservoir located in the Brecon Beacons National Park for the water supply to the city of Swansea in South Wales and was built between 1898 and 1906 by Swansea Corporation. The reservoir now supplies water to the towns in the valley of the River Tawe and north Swansea. The location of the reservoir was chosen as it was upstream of the heavily industrialised parts of the Tawe valley and in an area of high rainfall with as large an upstream catchment as possible.
Fan Gyhirych
Fan Gyhirych is a mountain in the Fforest Fawr section of Brecon Beacons National Park in south Wales. It lies within the county of Powys, formerly Brecknockshire. Its highest point at 725m is marked by a trig point which is located towards the western side of the summit plateau. The hill drains to the north into the catchment of the Afon Crai and to the south and west into that of the River Tawe. Fan Fraith is a nearby hill which can be considered a subsidiary top of Fan Gyhirych.

Fan Bwlch Chwyth is a peak in the Fforest Fawr section of the Brecon Beacons National Park and within the county of Powys. Its summit at 603m is marked by a trig point at OS grid ref SN 912217.
Afon Senni
The Afon Senni is a river in Powys, Wales which rises in the Fforest Fawr section of the Brecon Beacons National Park and flows northwards for 11 kilometres to a confluence with the River Usk at Sennybridge. The river rises as Blaen Senni to the north of the peak of Fan Nedd and east of Fan Gyhirych, occupying a deep glacial trough until it reaches the hamlet of Heol Senni.
Fforest Fach
Fforest Fach is a small area of unenclosed land within Brecon Beacons National Park southwest of Sennybridge in the county of Powys, Wales. Translating from Welsh as 'little forest', it is named in opposition to the much larger area of unenclosed land to the south which is known as Fforest Fawr or the 'great forest'.
Crai
Crai is a village in the Brecon Beacons National Park in the county of Powys, south Wales. It gives its name to the community of Cray, within which are the hamlet of Felin-Crai and a large number of dispersed farms around the valley of the Afon Crai. The river is dammed 2km / 1.5mi southwest of the village to form Cray Reservoir. The name may derive from Welsh 'crai' meaning rough and referring originally to the nature of the river.
Cefn Cul
Cefn Cul is a hill in the Fforest Fawr sector of the Brecon Beacons National Park in the county of Powys, south Wales. It is a broad north-northeast to south-southwest aligned ridge whose summit reaches a height of 562m above sea level. The hill is bounded to the west by the upper valley of the River Tawe though which the old Trecastle road runs whilst to the east is the pass of Bwlch Bryn-rhudd over which the A4067 road runs from the Cray valley south to that of the Tawe.
Afon Hydfer
The Afon Hydfer is a short river in Powys in the west of the Brecon Beacons National Park, south Wales. Its headwaters rise on the northeastern slopes of the Black Mountain as the streams named Trinant, Nant y Cadno, Nant yr Erydr and Crognant joining to flow down Cwm yr Afon on the western edge of Glasfynyd Forest. The river turns east at Blaenau Uchaf, then northeast through Cwm Hydfer and joins the River Usk just below Pont ar Hydfer.
