Old Colwyn
Old Colwyn, is a small town just to the east of Colwyn Bay, in Conwy County Borough, Wales. Prior to local government reorganisation in April 1974 it was part of the Municipal Borough of Colwyn Bay, but the reorganisation established it as a separate community, whose population at the 2001 census was 7,626. It hosted the National Eisteddfod in 1941. It also harbours the 3rd Colwyn Bay (Old Colwyn) Scout Group headquarters and is home to the area's comprehensive school, Ysgol Bryn Elian

Colwyn Bay railway station is on the Crewe to Holyhead North Wales Coast Line. The current station consists of the platform faces that served the Up Slow and Up Fast lines. The platform faces to the Down Slow and Down Fast lines were taken out of service and have been obliterated as a result of the construction of the A55 dual carriageway. The main station building stands on what was the island platform.

Colwyn Bay Football Club is a Welsh football club based in Old Colwyn, North Wales. The club participates in the Conference North, the sixth tier of English football. Nicknamed the Seagulls, but also known as 'The Bay' the club's home ground is at Llanelian Road in Old Colwyn. The club have reached the semi-finals of the Welsh Cup on three occasions, but no longer participate in the competition.

Eirias Park or Parc Eirias is a 50-acre public park in Colwyn Bay, Conwy County Borough, Wales. Situated within the park is the Colwyn Leisure Centre, whose facilities include a six-lane 25-metre swimming/leisure pool with various water features and a separate water slide. There is also a fitness suite, health suite, sauna, steam room and warm spa pool. Outdoor facilities include a sports stadium with grandstand and floodlit synthetic hockey/football playing area.

Old Colwyn railway station
Old Colwyn railway station was located in Colwyn, Denbighshire, North Wales, situated between the town to the south and the sea to the north. Opened 9 April 1884 by the London and North Western Railway, it was served by what is now the North Wales Coast Line between Chester, Cheshire and Holyhead, Anglesey. Initially known as simply Colwyn station, it was changed to Old Colwyn in 1885 after passengers confused it with the next station along the line, Colwyn Bay.
