Llandaff Cathedral
Llandaff Cathedral (Welsh: Eglwys Gadeiriol Llandaf) is the seat of the Bishop of Llandaff, head of the Church in Wales Diocese of Llandaff. It is situated in the district of Llandaff in the city of Cardiff, the capital of Wales. The current building was constructed in the 12th century over the site of an earlier church. It is dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint Paul, and also to three Welsh saints: Dubricius, Teilo and Oudoceus.
Llanishen
Llanishen (Welsh Llanisien llan church + Isien Saint Isan) is a district in the north of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. Llanishen is well known as the home of the 'Tax Offices', the tallest buildings in north Cardiff and a landmark for miles around. The office complex overlooks the 'Crystal and Fishguard estates', Parc Ty Glas industrial estate, old village, leafy suburban roads and various parkland that constitute the district.

A notable facility in the area is the Maindy Centre consisting of a cycle track and swimming pool. The cycle track was used in the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. The district contains a mix of early and mid 20th century suburban housing estates, 1960s council housing properties and some post-2000 modern developments.

Wenallt Hill

Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf is a Welsh-medium coeducational secondary school in Llandaff North, a district in the north of Cardiff, Wales and is the largest of its kind in the country. The name 'Glantaf' means 'The bank of the river Taf' in Welsh. Of the two Welsh-medium secondary schools serving Cardiff, it was the first to be established (the other being Ysgol Gymraeg Plasmawr).

Wenallt bunker
Wenallt bunker is a disused bunker at the top of Wenallt Hill in Cardiff, Wales. Originally used as the anti aircraft operations facility, it is now owned by BT as a store. Originally it was to become a War Room for Wales, taking over from Coryton but this idea was abandoned in the late 1970s. The bunker was mothballed for over a decade until it was broken into by local vandals and in recent years has been vandalised beyond all recognition.
Thornhill Cemetery
Thornhill Cemetery is a major cemetery and crematorium located in the Thornhill, a northern suburb of Cardiff, south Wales. It is located between the A469 road (Thornhill Road) and the M4 motorway. Thornhill Crematorium was opened in 1953 and occupies a 40-acre site as part of the Thornhill Cemetery. The cemetery contains two chapels, The Wenallt and the Briwnant Chapel and the Gardens of Remembrance for the scattering of cremated remains.
Melingriffith Tin Plate Works
The Melingriffith Tin Plate Works were post medieval tin and iron works located on Tŷ-mawr Road, in Whitchurch, Cardiff, Wales. Founded sometime before 1750, it was the largest tin-plate works in the world by the end of the 18th century. Subsequent to the closure of Melingriffith Tin Plate Works in 1957 (the site has been cleared and fenced), it was named a scheduled monument. The 200-year-old Melingriffith water pump is also a scheduled monument.
