Wirral Hundred

The Hundred of Wirral is the ancient administrative area for the Wirral Peninsula. Its name is believed to have originated from the Hundred of Wilaveston, the historic name for Willaston, which was an important assembly point in the Wirral Hundred during the Middle Ages. Wirral Peninsula

Ness Botanic Gardens is a garden situated near the English and Welsh Border in Merseyside. The garden is near to both the city of Chester and Ellesmere Port. The gardens have evolved since Arthur Kilpin Bulley (1861–1942) began to create a garden in 1898. Wirral Urban District

Wirral was an urban district in Cheshire, England from 1933 to 1974. It was created from part of the disbanded Wirral Rural District, and covered an area in the south-west of the Wirral Peninsula. Neston railway station

Neston railway station serves the town of Neston, Cheshire, England. This is the last station on the English part of the Borderlands Line before it reaches Wales. The station is 8¾ miles (14 km) south of Bidston. There was once a substantial station building on the Bidston bound platform. This fell into disrepair in the late 1990s though, and was finally demolished when the station was modernised for Disability Discrimination Act compliancy in 2003.
