Urmston
Urmston Listen/ˈɜrmstən/ is a town within the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford, in Greater Manchester, England, with a population of around 41,000. Historically in Lancashire, it lies about six miles (10 km) to the southwest of Manchester city centre. The southern boundary is marked by the River Mersey and the Mersey Valley, with Stretford lying to the east and Flixton to the west. Davyhulme lies to the north of the town centre. Urmston covers an area of 4,799 acres (19 km²).

City Airport is a general aviation airport in the Barton-upon-Irwell area of Eccles, in the City of Salford, Greater Manchester, England. Formerly known as both Barton Aerodrome and City Airport Manchester, it is known by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) as Manchester/Barton. It is situated 5 NM west of Manchester and was the United Kingdom's first purpose-built municipal airport. Featuring four grass runways, it is one of the busiest general aviation airports in the UK.

They played in the North West Counties Football League Premier Division until 2012 when they resigned from the league. They are members of the Manchester Football Association. Flixton House
Flixton House was built in 1806 by the Wright family, who had become wealthy land owners in Flixton. Flixton House would probably have been quite unremarkable in a national context had Ralph Wright in 1826 not closed several footpaths across his estate, footpaths that the public had until then been allowed access to. In response to the closure of those footpaths the people of Flixton initiated and funded a court case against Ralph Wright, one of the first footpath battles in England.

Flixton Girls' School (formerly Flixton Girls' High School) is a secondary school and specialist Sports College with academy status in the borough of Trafford in Greater Manchester. It admits girls of all abilities aged 11-16 with a new sixth form for girls opening in September 2013 delivered in partnership with Trafford College.
