Swinfen
Swinfen is a small community about two miles south of Lichfield in the civil parish of Swinfen and Packington, Staffordshire. Swinfen is referred to in the Domesday Book of 1086 when the Manor was held by the Bishop of Lichfield. The present building known as Swinfen Hall Hotel was built as the Manor House in 1757. Swinfen Hall Prison complete with staff accommodation, and a country craft centre, stands adjacent to the entrance to Swinfen Hall Hotel.

The Lichfield transmitting station is situated close to Tamworth in Staffordshire in the West Midlands between the A5 and A51. The nearest geographical feature is Hopwas Hill. The station is owned and operated by Arqiva. The mast is known locally as Hopwas mast or Hints mast.
Swinfen Hall
Swinfen Hall is an 18th century country mansion house, now converted into an hotel, situated at Swinfen, in the Lichfield District of Staffordshire in England. It is a Grade II* listed building. The Hall was built in 1757 by Samuel Swinfen to a design by architect Benjamin Wyatt, (father of James Wyatt) and remained the home of the Swinfen and Swinfen Broun families for almost two hundred years.
Freeford Hall
Freeford Manor (previously known as Freeford Hall) is a privately owned 18th century country house at Freeford, near Lichfield, Staffordshire. It is the home of the Dyott family and is a Grade II listed building. The Dyotts of Lichfield acquired interests in the manor of Freeford over many years from about 1606. When Richard Dyott, Member of Parliament for Lichfield 1690-1715 died in 1719, his son, also Richard decided to move from the city to live at Freeford.
Packington Hall (Staffordshire)
Packington Hall in Staffordshire, England was a country mansion designed by architect James Wyatt in the 18th century that was the home of the Levett family for many generations. The Levetts had ties to Whittington, Staffordshire and nearby Hopwas for many years. Packington Hall is located approximately two miles from Lichfield, and was likely built for Zachary Babington whose daughter Mary Babington married Theophilus Levett, town clerk of Lichfield.

HM Prison Swinfen Hall is a Category C men's prison and Young Offenders Institution, located in the village of Swinfen in Staffordshire, England. The prison is operated by Her Majesty's Prison Service.
Staffordshire Regiment Museum
The Staffordshire Regiment Museum is a military museum in Staffordshire, England, dedicated to preserving the history of The Staffordshire Regiment (The Prince of Wales's), its antecedent regiments and its successor regiment, The Mercian Regiment, from 1705 to the present day. The Staffordshire Regiment was an Infantry regiment of the British Army. The regiment was formed in 1959 by the amalgamation of The South Staffordshire Regiment and The North Staffordshire Regiment (Prince of Wales's).
Manley Hall, Staffordshire
Manley Hall (also known as Thickbroom Hall) was an English Tudor-style country house in Weeford, near Lichfield in Staffordshire. The house was built in 1833 in a 1200 acre estate for John Shawe Manley, who in 1843 was High Sheriff of Staffordshire. It was designed by architect Thomas Trubshaw (1801–1842) of Little Heywood. The building included a watch tower and elaborate finials and chimneys. However, due to severe wood rot, Manley Hall, apart from the south-west end, was demolished in 1905.
