Heart Somerset
Heart Somerset (formerly Orchard FM) was an Independent Local Radio station serving Somerset, England. Originally owned by (and officially remains licenced to) Orchard Media Ltd, the company was purchased by GWR Group in 1999, and who subsequently became GCap Media in 2005. The station broadcast from studios at Haygrove House, Shoreditch near Taunton, adjacent to the M5.
Staple Hill (Somerset)
Staple Hill is a hill in the English county of Somerset, the highest point in the Blackdown Hills. It is classed as both a Marilyn and a Hardy. This is one of the points on the Staple Fitzpaine Herepath a part of the Forestry Commission woodlands. There is a loop walk, starting from the car parking area, of 800m taking in a couple of view points with the paths upgraded early in 2009 to be suitable for disabled access.

Taunton Racecourse
Taunton Racecourse is a thoroughbred horse racing venue located in Orchard Portman, two miles south of Taunton, Somerset, England. Opened in 1927, Taunton is the youngest National Hunt course in England, and the last racecourse to be opened in Britain until Great Leighs in 2008.

Vivary Park
Vivary Park is a public open space in Taunton, Somerset, England. The Sherford Stream, a tributary of the River Tone, flows through the 7.5 hectares park, which is located near the centre of the town. It contains two main wide open spaces, as well as a war memorial dating from 1922, a miniature golf course, tennis courts, two children's playgrounds, a model railway track which was added in 1979, and an 18-hole, 4,620-yard, par-63 golf course.

Taunton Flower Show is an annual flower show held in Vivary Park, Taunton, Somerset, England. It has been described as "The Chelsea of the West", and attracts around 24,000 visitors over its two days. The show was first held in 1866 and apart from during the second world war, has been held every year since.
Luxhay Reservoir
Luxhay Reservoir is an artificial reservoir near Angersleigh, Somerset, England. It is now owned by Wessex Water. It was built in 1905 by the town corporation to provide drinking water for Taunton. The reservoir is fed by other local water sources including Otterhead Lakes and Blagdon reservoir. From 1969 leakage was detected in the retaining dam. This got worse in 1990s remedial works, including a diaphragm wall were undertaken.
