Fitz is a small village in Shropshire, England. The village is situated close to the River Severn, downstream from Montford Bridge and upstream of Shelton, near Shrewsbury. It lies in the parish of Pimhill. There is a red brick church - "St Peter and St Paul" - which was built in 1722 and restored in 1915 by Sir Aston Webb.

Montford Bridge is a village in Shropshire, England, and also the name of the bridge in that village. It lies on the River Severn and is close to the town of Shrewsbury. Most of the village is in the Montford parish, but some is covered by the Bicton parish. The A5 road used to run through the village (over the Montford Bridge), but has been diverted via the Shrewsbury by-pass. There are still some services, such as a shop (closed as of 2011) and a pub, in the village.

Fitz Manor

Fitz Manor is a manor house and hotel in Montford Bridge, Shropshire, England. The manor, which overlooks the River Severn, was built in 1450, although the original structure is believed to have been a Saxon Hall. The manor was owned at one time by the bishop of Shrewsbury and it had its own church. In the 18th century it fell under the occupation of the Baly family who have owned the Fitz Manor ever since and run it today as a bed and breakfast.

Christ Church Shelton and Oxon

The parish of Christ Church, Shelton and Oxon lies within the Diocese of Lichfield, in the County of Shropshire, UK. The church was built in 1854 by Edward Haycock Snr in Early English style with many lancet features. It is located on Welshpool Road in what is now suburban Shrewsbury, and is a Grade II listed building. The exterior has rubble walls with ashlar dressings. There is a bellcote and a gabled porch.
