The City Road Cemetery is a cemetery in the City of Sheffield, England that opened in May 1881 and was originally Intake Road Cemetery. Covering 100 acres it is the largest and is the head office for all the municipally owned cemeteries in Sheffield. The cemetery contains Sheffield Crematorium, whose first cremation was on 24 April 1905.

Herdings Towers

The Herdings Towers are two twin towers in Sheffield, England. These are the highest buildings in the city. They are built on a hill, so they are not the tallest. The North Tower is slightly higher than the South Tower because it is on a higher point of the hill. There used to be three towers, but one was demolished with a controlled explosion as it was announced unsafe. It was demolished in December 1983. The towers are around 70m tall each, and they are two brick and concrete towers.
