Shiplake Lock
Shiplake Lock is a lock and weir situated on the River Thames in England near the village of Shiplake, Oxfordshire. It is just above the points where the River Loddon joins the Thames and Shiplake Railway Bridge crosses the river. The first pound lock was built by the Thames Navigation Commission in 1773. The weir is some distance upstream of the lock between the lock island and Berkshire bank.
Conway's Bridge
Conway's Bridge is an ornamental rustic arched stone structure close to the River Thames on the estate of Park Place, Berkshire, England. It was designed by Humphrey Gainsborough, brother of the artist Thomas Gainsborough, and built in 1763. The bridge is named after Henry Seymour Conway (1721–1795). It still carries traffic on the road between Wargrave and Henley-on-Thames.
Phillimore Island
Phillimore Island is an elongated island in the River Thames in Oxfordshire, England near the villages of Shiplake, Oxfordshire and Wargrave, Berkshire. It is on the reach above Shiplake Lock. The island is named after the Phillimore family who were formerly the owners of Shiplake House, now Shiplake College, on the Oxfordshire bank. Although Phillimore island is quite centrally located in the River Thames, it is actually in Oxfordshire.

The A4155 is a road in the United Kingdom that starts at Bourne End in Buckinghamshire and leads westwards by way of Little Marlow, Marlow, Medmenham, Henley-on-Thames, Lower Shiplake and Caversham to terminate at Reading in Berkshire. Its route follows the north bank of the River Thames and thus it becomes very congested on the days of the various regattas and similar events in the towns it serves.

Shiplake Railway Bridge carries the Henley Branch Line to Henley-on-Thames, England across the River Thames, connecting Shiplake in Oxfordshire with Wargrave in Berkshire. It crosses the river just downstream of Shiplake Lock on the reach above Marsh Lock.
The Lynch
The Lynch is an island in the River Thames in Berkshire, England. It is on the reach above Shiplake Lock near Lower Shiplake. The island is large and triangular shaped, forming a pair with the similar Hallsmead Ait. It is uninhabited and tree covered and provides mooring on both sides in the back channel. Although the island is positioned towards the Oxfordshire bank of the river, it is actually in Berkshire.
Handbuck Eyot
Handbuck Eyot or Handbuck Ait is an island in the River Thames in England near the villages of Shiplake, Oxfordshire and Wargrave, Berkshire. It is on the reach above Marsh Lock. The island is wooded and inaccessible except by boat, but has been included in the property of the large houses on the Shiplake bank.
Ferry Eyot
Ferry Eyot or Ferry Ait is an island in the River Thames in England near the villages of Shiplake, Oxfordshire and Wargrave, Berkshire. It is on the reach above Marsh Lock. The island is named after Bolney Ferry which operated across the river at this point carrying barge horses across to the towpath on the opposite side.
Poplar Eyot
Poplar Eyot or Poplar Ait is an island in the River Thames in England near the villages of Shiplake, Oxfordshire and Wargrave, Berkshire. It is on the reach above Marsh Lock. The island is wooded and inaccessible except by boat. It is in the middle of a chain lying off the large houses on the Shiplake bank.
Shiplake Court
Shiplake Court was a historic manor house near Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, England. In the sixteenth century, it was the residence of Edmund Plowden. In 1897, it had its own electricity generating plant, managed by Stuart Turner. The independent school, Shiplake College, is now on the manor house's grounds.

Hennerton Backwater is a narrow backwater of the River Thames on the reach above Marsh Lock near the villages of Shiplake, Oxfordshire and Wargrave, Berkshire. Hennerton Backwater leaves the River Thames at the Unnamed Eyot, passing through Willow Marina, and rejoins just below Ferry Eyot.
