Cholsey and Wallingford Railway
The Cholsey and Wallingford Railway is a 2.5-mile long standard gauge heritage railway in the English county of Oxfordshire. It operates along most of the length of the former Wallingford branch of the Great Western Railway (GWR), from Cholsey station, 12 miles north of Reading on the Great Western Main Line, to a station on the outskirts of the nearby town of Wallingford.

Cholsey railway station, previously known as Cholsey and Moulsford railway station, is a railway station located in the village of Cholsey in Oxfordshire, England. The station is mainly served by services operated by First Great Western (FGW), and also is junction terminus for heritage railway services on the Cholsey and Wallingford Railway.
Cholsey Abbey
Cholsey Abbey was an Anglo-Saxon nunnery in Cholsey in the English county of Berkshire, which was founded in 986. After King Edward the Martyr was murdered, his stepmother, Ælfthryth, was implicated in the crime. Edward's death had allowed Ælfthryth's son, Ethelred the Unready, to become King of England. Both Ælfthryth and Ethelred were instrumental in establishing Cholsey Abbey: an act of expiation for Edward's death.
Moulsford Railway Bridge
Moulsford Railway Bridge, known locally as "Four Arches" bridge is a pair of parallel bridges located a little to the north of Moulsford and South Stoke in Oxfordshire, UK. It carries the Great Western Main Line from Paddington, London to Wales and the West across the River Thames. It lies between the stations at Goring & Streatley and Cholsey, and crosses the Thames at an oblique angle on the reach between Cleeve Lock and Benson Lock.
Winterbrook
Winterbrook is a small settlement in the English county of Oxfordshire, which adjoins the south end of Wallingford and sits on the west bank of the Thames. In 1974 it was transferred from Berkshire. It appears in records from the time of King Henry III. It is connected to the east bank by Winterbrook Bridge. Its most famous resident was the novelist, Agatha Christie, who lived at Winterbrook House and died there in 1976.
Beetle and Wedge
The Beetle and Wedge Boathouse is a restaurant set on the site of the original Moulsford ferry service, on the banks of the River Thames on Ferry Lane in Moulsford, Oxfordshire, England. The restaurant has a riverside setting on the very same stretch of river immortalised in The Wind in the Willows, where Jerome K Jerome chronicled the escapades of his friends' visits in Three Men in a Boat. The unusual name refers to a maul (or hammer) and wedge used to split wood.
Moulsford railway station
Moulsford railway station was on the original route of the Great Western Railway, being one of three intermediate stations provided when the line was extended from Reading to Steventon in 1840.
