Nene Park

Nene Park is a football stadium situated by Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire, England, along the bank of the River Nene, and holds 6,441, with 4,641 seated and 1,800 standing. The car park can hold 800 vehicles. From 1992 until 2011 it was the home ground of Rushden & Diamonds until their demise. It was then the home of Kettering Town for just 18 months, but they left in November 2012 to play at Corby due to the costs of running the ground.

Rushden Transport Museum

Rushden Transport Museum, formerly the Rushden Station Railway Museum, is a small railway museum in East Northamptonshire. It is housed in the original Rushden railway station, which was on the Midland Railway's Wellingborough to Higham Ferrers branch. The collection includes historical material on railways, rolling stock, locomotives (inc. steam), and several buses. There are events each month throughout the summer. The station has a real-ale bar housed in the former ladies' waiting room.

Higham Ferrers railway station

Higham Ferrers is a former railway station on a Midland Railway branch line from Wellingborough. It served the market town of Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire, England. The line was closed in 1971, and the station has since been demolished and the track lifted. It is the eventual aim of the Heritage Rushden, Higham & Wellingborough Railway to reopen the line to Higham Ferrers from its base at Rushden station as well as to Wellingborough.
