RAF Deenethorpe is a former Second World War airfield in Northamptonshire, England, about two miles east of Corby.
Benefield Castle
Benefield Castle was sited in the village of Lower Benefield, between the towns of Corby and Oundle in Northamptonshire at grid reference SP987884. Originally the site of a Norman manor house, a stone ringwork fortress was built in the 13th century. It was abandoned by the early 14th century. It now consists of a rectangular platform surrounded by a broad ditch which represents the original moat. This is in turn surrounded by an earthen bank.

Deene Park, the seat of the Brudenell family since 1514, is a country manor located 5 miles north-east of Corby in the county of Northamptonshire, England. Seven of the Brudenell family were Earls of Cardigan — the most notable being the 7th Earl who led the Charge of the Light Brigade at the Battle of Balaclava (1854); with the merging of the title with the Marquessate of Ailesbury, the estate has descended to Edmund Brudenell.
