Bungay railway station

Bungay railway station was opened as part of the now disused Waveney Valley Line. The station was closed in 1953 and the buildings eventually demolished to make way for the A143 road. Thwaite St Mary

Thwaite St Mary is a rural hamlet in the English county of Norfolk, it sits just a few miles north of the Suffolk border. Thwaite – sometimes pronounced ‘twayt’ by locals – has approximately thirty-five dwellings and a population of around seventy-nine.
