Withington
Withington is a suburban area of Manchester, England. Historically part of Lancashire, it lies 4 miles south of Manchester city centre, about 0.4 miles south of Fallowfield, 0.5 miles north-east of Didsbury and 1 mile east of Chorlton-cum-Hardy. Withington has a population of just over 14,000 people.
Wilmslow Road
Wilmslow Road is a major thoroughfare in Manchester, England, running from Parrs Wood northwards to Rusholme. There it becomes Oxford Road and the name changes again to Oxford Street when it crosses the River Medlock and reaches the city centre. The road runs through the centres of Didsbury, Withington and Fallowfield, including the major student residential campus of Owens Park, to Rusholme.

Christie Hospital

Fallowfield Stadium
Fallowfield Stadium was an athletics stadium and velodrome in Fallowfield, Manchester, England. It opened in May 1892 as the home of Manchester Athletics Club after it was forced to move from its home next to Old Trafford Cricket Ground. Fallowfield was most regularly used for cycling by the Manchester Wheelers' Club, who held their annual competition there until 1976.

XS Malarkey
XS Malarkey is an award winning, not for profit comedy club in Manchester. It is promoted and compered by the comedian and actor Toby Hadoke, and runs every Tuesday night. In 2007, a Guardian article described XS Malarkey as a "great example of how a club should be run". It began life in 1997 at Scruffy Murphys (now Sir Joseph Whitworth) in Fallowfield, before moving down the road to Bar XS on 25 September 2001, where the headline acts were Toby Foster and Jimmy Carr.
Ladybarn
Ladybarn is a small suburban area between Withington and Fallowfield in the city of Manchester, centred on Ladybarn Lane. It is now part of Manchester's urban sprawl but some of the village's original cobbled streets remain. The oldest properties are probably Rose Cottages, dating from the late 18th century. The hub of Ladybarn is Ladybarn Village, consisting of around 20 shops, based on Mauldeth Road: to the north is Ladybarn Lane.
Cine City, Withington
Cine City was a cinema in Withington, Manchester, England located at 494 Wilmslow Road, Withington, Manchester, M20 3BG. It opened in 1912 as The Scala, and was the third cinema to open in Britain. During the 1930s, cinemas became increasingly popular; The Scala was one of 109 cinemas in Manchester at its peak. The road outside was hit by a small bomb during the Second World War, but the cinema (which was showing several films at the time) survived with only minor damage.
Manchester High School for Girls
Manchester High School for Girls is an independent daytime school for girls and a member of the Girls School Association. It is situated in Fallowfield, Manchester, United Kingdom. The school is regarded as one of the UK's leading independent day schools based on A-level results. The school currently enrols over 930 students and is under the direction of Head Mistress Claire Hewitt. Chancellors Hotel & Conference Centre

Green End Primary School
Green End Primary School is an inner-city Primary school in Burnage, Manchester, North West. The former 1920s/30s building was demolished and a new two-story environmentally friendly school was built in 2006 at a cost of £4.6 million. The school was put on special measures by Ofsted in 2006, but has since been turned around by Executive Headteacher Lisa Vyas.

The Wilmslow Road bus corridor is a 5.5-mile-long section of road in Manchester that carries a large number of bus services. The corridor runs from Parrs Wood to Manchester city centre along Wilmslow Road and Oxford Road, serving Didsbury, Withington, Fallowfield and Rusholme.
