East Goscote was a hundred of Leicestershire, that arose from the division of the ancient Goscote hundred into two. It covered the eastern part of today's Charnwood district, along with the northern part of Harborough district, and extended south-east to meet Rutland. The hundred was created by the subdivision of the Goscote hundred in 1346.

Burton Lazars
Burton Lazars is a small village two miles south-east of Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. The name originates from Burton Saint Lazarus after Roger de Mowbray opened a leper hospital to take advantage of the natural spring water in the 12th century. The village currently has a population of between 400 and 500. The Order of Saint Lazarus established leper hospitals with the first being in Jerusalem in the year 530.

Little Dalby is a small village near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. The Little Dalby Estate is the Ernest Cook Trust's largest and, in many ways, its most complete estate. Extending to 5,600 acres, the estate was purchased in two parts by Ernest Cook, the northern half from the Burns Harttop family in 1938 and the southern half from Brasenose College in 1940.
St Mary's Church, Brentingby
St Mary's Church, Brentingby, is a redundant Anglican church in the village of Brentingby, Leicestershire, England. Much of the body of the church has been demolished and converted into a private house, leaving the tower standing. The tower has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
