Fosse Shopping Park is one of Britain's biggest out-of-town shopping parks and it is situated in Enderby parish, in Blaby district, on the southern edge of the city of Leicester, England. The retail park is in an area of mixed industrial and commercial development, about half a mile from Junction 21 of the M1, where it meets the M69. Junction 21 also connects the M1 with the A5460 (Narborough Road), from the centre of Leicester, and Leicester's main ringroad, the A563.

Glen Parva

Glen Parva is a civil parish in Leicestershire with a population of over 5,000. To the north it runs into Aylestone, and to the east Eyres Monsell and South Wigston. To the south and west it is not immediately surrounded by development. Cosby is a village in the English county of Leicestershire. Cosby is located in the south west of the county near the larger villages and towns of Whetstone, Blaby and Wigston. Its proximity to the city of Leicester means it is part of the Leicester Urban Area. It is not known how the name originated, and it is first recorded as "Cossebi" in the Domesday Book. It was described as a "considerable village" in 1810 by historian John Nichols.

Whetstone railway station

Whetstone was a station on the Great Central Railway (GCR), the last main line to be constructed from the north of England to London, which opened in 1899 to serve the Leicestershire village of Whetstone. Whetstone station was built by the Great Central as part of its London Extension, and opened to passengers on 15 March 1899. It was a conventional London extension station, common in towns on villages on the GCR, and was equipped with a single island platform.

Ashby Magna railway station

Ashby Magna was a station on the Great Central Railway, the last main line to be constructed from the north of England to London, which opened in 1899 to serve the Leicestershire village of Ashby Magna. Architecturally, the station was very similar to Whetstone in that it comprised a single island platform designed by Alexander Ross which allowed the tracks to pass either side of a central platform, and was intended to facilitate future expansion of the railway.
