Borough of Maidstone
The Borough of Maidstone is a local government district with borough status in Kent, England. Its administrative centre is Maidstone which is also the County town of Kent. grid reference TQ760560 The district was formed on 1 April 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972, and was a merger of the former municipal borough of Maidstone with the rural districts of Hollingbourne and Maidstone.
Maidstone United F.C
Maidstone United Football Club is an English football team based in Maidstone, Kent. The current club is a continuation of the old Maidstone United, which was a member of the Football League between 1989 and 1992. That club was forced out of the league through bankruptcy but the nucleus of a new club was built around the youth squad. The 'Stones' were elected to the Kent County League Fourth Division in 1993 and subsequently progressed through the non-league pyramid.

Maidstone Barracks railway station is one of three railway stations which serve Maidstone in Kent. It is on the Medway Valley Line, and train services are provided by Southeastern. The station has been unstaffed since Sept 1989, and the booking office on the Strood-bound platform subsequently demolished. A PERTIS (permit to travel) passenger-operated self-service ticket machine was installed on the Strood-bound platform in 2007/08.

The Loft (nightclub)
Built more than 130 years ago in 1874, 34c Gabriels Hill, Maidstone was once a seed and grain warehouse. In 1992 the venue was converted from a small function room into a nightclub called Warehouse 2, a reference to it being the replacement venue for the original Warehouse nightclub in Lockmeadow which was closed to make way for a new link road.

A249 road
The A249 is a road in Kent, England, running from Maidstone to Sheerness on the Isle of Sheppey. It mainly functions as a link between the M2 and M20 motorways, and for goods vehicle traffic to the port at Sheerness. In 2006, an upgraded dual carriageway section opened between Iwade and Queenborough, including a new fixed crossing over the Swale. The existing lifting Kingsferry Bridge has been retained as an alternative route.
Maidstone Line
The Maidstone Line diverges from the Chatham Main Line at Swanley Junction and proceeds down the Darenth valley to Otford junction (where the Bat & Ball line divides towards Sevenoaks). It continues via Borough Green & Wrotham and Maidstone East to Ashford, where it joins the South Eastern Main Line.
Hazlitt Theatre
The Hazlitt Theatre is one of the main theatres in Maidstone, Kent. It was named after William Hazlitt, the famous essayist, who was born in Maidstone in 1778. A2020 road
The A2020 is a previous road in Kent but has been renumbered to A20 following the construction of the M20 motorway. Between 1960 and 1961, two sections of (what is now known as) the M20 motorway were built between junctions 5 and 8. This was known as the Maidstone Bypass and was renumbered the A20(M) as it bypassed the stretch of the A20 through Maidstone.
Medway Valley Walk
The Medway Valley Walk follows the River Medway from Rochester to Tonbridge. Above Allington, it follows the bank of the Medway Navigation. It starts on the Saxon Shore Way at Rochester. The North Downs Way crosses the Medway Valley Walk at the eastern end of the Medway Viaduct or motorway bridge. The Greensand Way crosses the walk at Yalding. At West Peckham, it is joined by the Wealdway which continues through to Tonbridge, thus linking with the Eden Valley Walk.
