Hertfordshire
Hertfordshire is a ceremonial and non-metropolitan county in the East of England region of the United Kingdom. It is one of the home counties and is bordered by the non-metropolitan counties of Bedfordshire to the north, Cambridgeshire to the north-east, Essex to the east, and Buckinghamshire to the west, while Greater London lies to the south. Stevenage
Stevenage is a town and borough in Hertfordshire, England. It is situated to the east of junctions 7 and 8 of the A1(M), and is between Letchworth Garden City to the north, and Welwyn Garden City to the south. Stevenage is roughly 30 miles north of central London. Its population was 1,430 in 1801, 4,049 in 1901, 79,724 in 2001 and 84,651 in 2007. The largest increase occurred in the 1950s and 1960s, after Stevenage was designated a new town under the New Towns Act of 1946.
Six Hills
The Six Hills are a collection of Roman barrows situated alongside the old Great North Road in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England. They are classed as a Scheduled Ancient Monument and are protected by law. They form the most complete Roman barrow group in the country. Beside their historical significance, they lend their name to an important thoroughfare in the town (Six Hills Way) and are a local landmark.

Stevenage railway station serves the town of Stevenage in Hertfordshire, England. The station is 27 miles north of London Kings Cross on the East Coast Main Line. Stevenage is managed and served by First Capital Connect. It is also served by East Coast and First Hull Trains. The present station dates from 1973, replacing the previous station, which was a mile to the north, and further away from the centre of the new town.

Ditchmore Lane is a cricket ground in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. The first recorded match on the gound was in 1821, when Hertfordshire played their first Minor Counties Championship match which was against Buckinghamshire. From 1921 to 2000, the ground played host to 41 Minor Counties Championship matches and 2 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches. The ground hosted a single List-A match in the 1969 Gillette Cup between Hertfordshire and Devon.

Stevenage mail centre is a Royal mail sorting office in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England. In 2010, Royal Mail announced that a number of sorting offices from around the Home counties, including the Stevenage, Hitchin, Berkhamsted and Welwyn Garden City would be closed and merged into a large mail processing centre in Hemel Hempstead. These closures initiated a protest by the workers at the Stevenage mail centre, and members of the CWU in November 2010
