Rushmoor
Rushmoor is a local government district and borough in Hampshire, England. It covers the towns of Aldershot and Farnborough. It was formed on 1 April 1974 by the merger of the borough of Aldershot and the Farnborough urban district. The borough took its name from Rushmoor Arena, a military showground constructed at Rushmoor Bottom in 1923. In May 2000, a referendum was held to on whether to change the name of the borough.
Frimley Lodge Park Railway
The Frimley Lodge Miniature Railway is operated by the Frimley and Ascot Locomotive Club and is located within Frimley Lodge Park, Surrey. It is approximately 1 kilometre long in total, with a triple gauge track (3.5, 5" and 7.5) looping around an area of trees next to the Basingstoke Canal. The journey takes about 5 minutes and is an attraction to young and old alike.

Aldershot Observatory
Aldershot observatory is a circular red-brick building with a domed roof standing on Queens Avenue in Aldershot Military Town near Aldershot, England, home to the British Army since circa 1854. Inside is an 8-inch refracting telescope on a German-type equatorial mount with a clockwork drive which will run for about 2 hours without rewinding, this has a facility to vary the drive rate.

Farnborough (Main) railway station serves the town of Farnborough in Hampshire, England. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by South West Trains. It is one of two stations serving Farnborough: the other, Farnborough North, is situated on the North Downs Line. The Catholic National Library (formerly the Catholic Central Library) is a large Roman Catholic library currently located at St Michael's Abbey in Farnborough, Hampshire, founded in 1912. The collection started in 1912 in the porch of the Catholic Church in Bexhill-on-Sea, from the private library of an American, Mr William Reed-Lewis.
Salesian College (Farnborough)
Salesian College, Farnborough, Hampshire is an independent Roman Catholic school. It admits boys from the age of 11 to 18, and girls in the Sixth Form. The College was founded in 1901 as a small preparatory school for boys, but soon expanded to provide boarding secondary education owing to its increasing popularity. For the 2007-2008 academic year, the College announced that it would admit girls into the Sixth Form for the first time.
North Camp railway station
North Camp railway station is situated in the civil parish of Ash in Surrey, England. It takes its name from an area of the nearby town of Farnborough, Hampshire. The station is managed by First Great Western, who provide services on the North Downs Line from Reading to Guildford, Redhill and Gatwick Airport. It is less than half a mile (one kilometre)'s walk from Ash Vale station. These railway lines cross but otherwise have no proper interchange.
1972 Aldershot Bombing
The Aldershot bombing was a car bomb attack by the Official Irish Republican Army (Official IRA) on 22 February 1972 in Aldershot, England. The bomb targeted the headquarters of the British Army's 16th Parachute Brigade and was claimed as a revenge attack for Bloody Sunday. Seven civilian staff were killed and nineteen wounded. It was the Official IRA's largest attack in Britain during "the Troubles" and one of its last major actions before it declared a ceasefire in May 1972.
Aldershot Military Cemetery
Aldershot Military Cemetery, is a burial ground for military personnel, or ex-military personnel. It is located in Aldershot Military Town, Hampshire. The Cemetery is also open for the interment of wives and families of all ranks, and for some civilians who have spent their life with the army. The Cemetery lies between Thorn Hill and Peaked Hill, and is bordered to the south by Ordnance Road. Entrance from Gallwey Road, near where the old time-gun stood.
Aldershot Military Museum
Aldershot Military Museum in Aldershot Military Town in Hampshire was conceived by former Aldershot Garrison Commander, the late Brigadier John Reed (1926-1992). Reed believed that is was essential to preserve the history of Aldershot Military Town and established the Aldershot Military Historical Trust to raise funds for the establishment of the Museum. Reed acquired the two Victorian barrack bungalows in which the Museum is still based.
Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces Museum
The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces Museum is now located at Imperial War Museum Duxford. Prior to 2008 it was based at Browning Barracks in the Aldershot Military Town area near Aldershot in Hampshire. As well as the history of Airborne Forces in general, in particular the Museum told the story of the The Parachute Regiment, which was based in the town from its creation in 1940 until 2003.
Prince Consort's Library
The Prince Consort's Library in Aldershot Military Town in the English county of Hampshire was founded by Prince Albert to contribute to the education of soldiers in the British Army. Today it is the military specialist library of the Army Library Service, specialising in the provision of information on current military topics, political subjects and international relations in support of operations, intelligence, training and education in the Armed Forces. It is open to all ranks.
1952 Farnborough Airshow DH.110 crash
The 1952 Farnborough Airshow DH.110 crash was an air show accident that killed 29 spectators, the pilot, and the onboard flight test observer (Anthony Richards). The DH.110, a prototype, was being demonstrated when during a manoeuvre, the aircraft broke up. The cause was a faulty wing leading edge design. The DH.110 was grounded and strict safety procedures were subsequently enacted (no member of the public has been killed at a British air show since).
Imperial Crypt (Farnborough)
The Imperial Crypt at St Michael's Abbey, Farnborough, is the burial place of the exiled Emperor Napoleon III of France and his wife, Eugénie de Montijo. It also contains the tomb of the couple's son, Napoléon Eugène, Prince Imperial (also known as Napoléon IV), who was the pretender to the imperial throne of France. Napoléon III, following the fall of the Second French Empire in 1870, was exiled from France and took up residence in Chislehurst, England, where he died in 1873.

Officers Club Services Ground
The Officers Club Services Ground is a cricket ground in Fleet Road, Aldershot, Hampshire, England. Aldershot had been a small village until 1853, but was transformed following the purchase of 25,000 acres of land by the War Office for military training. Over the following two decades Aldershot was transformed into a garrison town, by 1874 a number of cricket grounds, including the Officers Club Services Ground, had been constructed for use by the various regiments garrisoned there.

Grasmere Road Ground
Grasmere Road is a cricket ground located north of Farnborough Airport on Grasmere Road, from which the ground gets its name, in Cove, Hampshire, England. The ground is borderded by housing on its west and north sides, while to the south it is bordered by an open field and on its east side by woodland. The grounds facilities include a pavilion, practice nets and a scoreboard. The ground is owned by Cove Cricket Club, which was founded in 1935.
