St Swithun's Way
St Swithun's Way is a 34-mile long-distance footpath in England from Winchester Cathedral, Hampshire to Farnham, Surrey. It is named after Swithun, a 9th-century Bishop of Winchester, and roughly follows the Winchester to Farnham stretch of the Pilgrims' Way. The route was opened in 2002 to mark the Golden Jubilee of Elizabeth II.

Bentworth is a village and civil parish in the East Hampshire district of the County of Hampshire, England, about 4 miles northwest of the town of Alton, just west of the A339 road between Alton and Basingstoke. The Civil Parish of Bentworth has an area of 3,763 acres . The village of Bentworth itself is in the centre of the Civil Parish, which also contains the hamlets of Ashley, Burkham, Holt End, Thedden and Wivelrod.
Alton Abbey
Alton Abbey is an Anglican Benedictine Monastery (founded in 1895) in the village of Beech, near Alton, Hampshire, England. The community was founded by The Rev Charles Plomer Hopkins in 1884 as the Society of Saint Paul in Rangoon, Burma) and Culcutta to work with destitute or distressed merchant seafarers and their chaplains. The first house was opened in 1894 in Barry Dock, South Wales (now closed) to continue this work.
Bentworth Hall
Bentworth Hall is a country house in the parish of Bentworth in Hampshire, England. It is situated to the east of the hamlet of Holt End, and is approximately 4 miles from Alton, its nearest town. The previous Bentworth Hall, now known as Hall Place was built in the early 14th century and is a Grade II listed building in the village of Bentworth itself. The present day Bentworth Hall is enclosed by its own wood.
