Lydney railway station is a railway station serving the town of Lydney in Gloucestershire, England. It is located on the Gloucester-Newport line. The station is located a mile south of Lydney, and was originally called Lydney Junction, which is now the name of the nearby station on the preserved Dean Forest Railway.

It was formed under the Local Government Act 1894 from that part of the Chepstow rural sanitary district which was in Gloucestershire (and England), the rest forming Chepstow Rural District in Monmouthshire. Lydney Town A.F.C

Lydney Town A.F.C. are a football club based in Lydney, Gloucestershire, England. They joined the Hellenic League Division One in 1980 but left the league in 1984. In the 2005–06 season, they won the Gloucestershire County League title, earning promotion back into the Hellenic League Division One West for the 2006–07 season. Lydney Canal

|} This one-mile canal in Gloucestershire runs inland from the River Severn to Lydney. It was opened in 1813 to trans-ship iron and coal from the Forest of Dean. It was once connected by a horse drawn tramroad to the Pidcock's Canal which brought materials down to the wharves by tub-boat. In the 1960s imported wood was still being brought in by barge from Avonmouth. It remained in commercial use until the 1980s.
