Shurdington

Shurdington is a village near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, England. The area constitutes a civil parish within the Borough of Tewkesbury. It is located south of Cheltenham on the A46. Shurdington has an 11th-century church (St. Paul's), a modern Social Centre (completed 1998) containing the Century Hall and Millennium Hall, a Primary School, a post office and general store and a hairdresser. There are two public houses: the Bell Inn and The Cheese Rollers.

Sheepscombe is a small village in Gloucestershire, 6.5 miles south-east of Gloucester, 6 miles north-east of Stroud, and 1+⁄2 miles east of Painswick, lying just off the A46 and B4070 roads. The first record of the village dates from around 1260, with the original name of Sebbescumbe - the name possibly comes from the names of early local settlers named Ebba or Sebba. 'Combe' means valley.
