Hawbush

Hawbush is a council estate in Brierley Hill, West Midlands, England. It was built in the 1920s and 1930s. It has been served by a primary school, Hawbush Primary School, since 1930, when 5-7 infant and 7-11 junior schools were opened. Red House Cone

The Red House Cone is located in Wordsley in the West Midlands, adjacent to the Stourbridge Canal bridge on the A491 High Street. It is a 90-foot high conical brick structure with a diameter of 60 feet, used for the production of glass. It was used by the Stuart Crystal firm till 1936, when the company moved to a new facility at Vine Street. It is one of only four cones remaining in the United Kingdom.

Stambermill Viaduct

Stambermill Viaduct is a viaduct situated in Stourbridge, West Midlands, England. It was constructed in 1850 to carry the new railway between Stourbridge and Walsall across the River Stour, and was open to passenger trains until 1964. It is still in use for goods trains, as the railway is still is use as far as Round Oak Steel Terminal at Brierley Hill (though trains have not travelled beyond that point since 1993). Freight trains can still be seen passing over the viaduct.

Stourbridge Basin

Stourbridge Basin was a canal basin at the end of the Stourbridge Branch Line in Stourbridge, West Midlands, England. It was built in the 1850s. The last 700 yards of the line were used for goods traffic only, to the basin where goods could be interchanged with the terminus of the Stourbridge Canal.

The reason that Network West Midlands decided on the redevelopment is that the old station served over 700 buses a day, and could not cope with the demand.
