Poundsgate is a small village in Dartmoor, Devon, England, located on the road between Ashburton and Princetown. The postal area of "Poundsgate" is a wide geographical area. East Webburn River
The East Webburn is a stream in the Dartmoor moors in Devon in south-west England. It rises on the western side of the moors flowing off the west side of Hameldon ridge. Its source is less than 1 kilometre south west of Grimspound Bronze Age settlement. It flows south past Widecombe-in-the-Moor and joins the West Webburn River. These combined streams then join the River Dart close to the village of Holne.
West Webburn River
The West Webburn is a stream on Dartmoor in Devon in south-west England. It rises on the eastern side of the moors flowing off the east side of Hameldown ridge. Its source is extremely close to Grimspound Bronze Age settlement and it was probably the main source of water for the settlement. It flows south going past Widecome in the Moor and joins the East Webburn River at Lizwell Meet in Oakmoor Wood. These combined streams then join the River Dart at Buckland Bridge in Holne Chase.
Newbridge, River Dart
Newbridge or New Bridge is a Grade II* listed medieval bridge over the River Dart, Dartmoor, Devon, England. It is on the road between Ashburton and Two Bridges, and connects Aish Tor to Holne Chase. A car park is located next to the bridge and is often frequented by families, walkers, and watersports enthusiasts, though the narrowness of both this bridge and Holne Bridge means that the size of vehicles is restricted on this road.
Holne Bridge
Holne Bridge is a Grade II* listed medieval bridge over the River Dart, Dartmoor, Devon, England. It is on the road between Ashburton and Two Bridges, and connects Holne Chase to Ausewell. The narrowness of both this bridge and nearby New Bridge means that the size of vehicles is restricted on this road. The bridge is constructed of local granite and has four arches, three of which are semicircular, the other segmental.
Holne Chase Castle
Holne Chase Castle is an Iron Age hill fort situated close to Buckland-in-the-Moor in Devon, England. The fort is situated on a promontory on the Northern slopes of Holne Chase in Chase Wood at approx 150 Metres above Sea Level overlooking the River Dart.
